It looked so pretty. The SJYC is headquartered in an old 1920s river boat called the Sutter. In the olden days she used to haul freight from San Francisco up to the Delta. Her working life ended in the 1950s after roads and trucks replaced the river runs. ReplyDeleteThere was a bit of camera shake, or else the boat was bobbing up and down in the water when I took the picture with a long exposure.
ReplyDeleteIt was a last chance to take the photo when the tide was high and the trees were still bare. Next week the trees will leaf out and we won't have the clear view.
