Eye(glasses) on the candidates
Way back, long ago in 1984, there was a female candidate for vice president of the United States – Geraldine Ferraro. She wore these cool-looking rimless eyeglasses.
And now, once again in 2008, we have a vice presidential candidate – Sarah Palin -- wearing cool-looking rimless eyeglasses.

In 1984 when Geraldine was a candidate I thought she was old. Looking at this picture twenty four years later she looks young. LOL Everything is relative.
