What a lovely fanciful poster! I envy you. I have never heard of any of these sewing machines. Where have I been? When my mother bought a Pfaff zigzag sometime before 1955 it was an object of awe in our neighborhood. As far as I know it is still sewing, if my sister ever gets around to sewing at all! Great machine and probably why I prefer Pfaff. Mine is a 1975 1222E.
What an interesting post, with added info! I had a few machines in my sewing history, & wish I had photos of them all now. I still have my Grandmother's old treadly Singer, which is what I learnt to sew with, & I do regard it as a treasure!
