The floral arrangement at Robert’s memorial service yesterday was lovely.
The people at Good Scents understood just what was needed. There were wheat stalks symbolizing Robert’s bread making while tules and cattails evoked his island home and the blue iris carried out the water theme. Pear leaves represented the pears he used for his special jam while the red roses stood in for the strawberries. See Jam Session.
The service at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Brentwood was all that I could ask – a true celebration of Robert’s life.

I liked your bookshelf quilt up front as well as those meaningful symbols...the cookbook & breadbox, etc. A wonderful tribute to a life well-lived.
