Tradition Continued
What a lovely birthday yesterday. There was an angel food cake with pink 7-minute icing (see the photo in yesterday's post, below), and a new Janome Jem 720 from Robert and my son and daughter-in-law. I’ve now read the instruction manual several times and am about ready to sew on this newfangled gadget. Thank you all.

Oooh! The cake looks lovely and the added bonus of a new Janome, well what could be better. You are so lucky to have a husband who can make you a birthday cake.

A lovely new Janome! Wonderful. I love mine, & it is not even young any more.
A new sewing machine is quite a thoughtful present. And yum, pink frosting! Everyone knows that pink tastes the best.
