Update -- good news
The test went well. Robert will probably come home tomorrow. He is cheerful.
I had not realized how spoiled I was. I had to go shopping today – grocery and office shopping. What a lot of work! I have not been shopping in a long time. I usually tell Robert, “We are out of something (whatever)” and later it magically appears in the house.
I am going to be a lot nicer to him. We will be on a high fiber diet.

It is never too late for happily ever after.
Hugs~
Thank goodness, he doesn't have to stay in the hospital any longer. I hope he is all healed soon. Hugs must help! Love....
Ha! I knew how spoiled you were when I tasted Robert's homemade bread.
It's great when you have these retired guys around to run errands isn't it? Glad to hear he's doing well.

Thanks to everyone for the comments and e-mails.
Yes, hugs do help.
Robert is home and happy.
He did all the family shopping way back before he retired so I've had a long time to get spoiled.
You are so lucky:) MY dh just started the errand running since he retired and I'm getting spoiled already. Hate going the grocery store now. LOL

Hope you have your guy back home today.
So glad this has had a good result. I worry about handing over all the shopping. We dont get enough variety in foods. Gom would just buy the same 3 things forever!
Oh dear; this is what happens when I stare at my navel for a few days. People's husbands have to go to the hospital!
I'm glad to hear the test went well, and will be hoping for the best for both of you.
so glad to hear all is well and that your sweet husband will be able to shop for you again soon :)
must be nice...justin whines if i ask him for even one item on his way home (and its an hour to town...where he already is...so if im out...im out until i get there :( )
I'm glad to hear that your husband's stay wasn't long. Hey, I bet he loves spoiling you.
