I just found some new photos (May, 2007) of the Delta Coves project – my new neighbor. You can see more of them at this site. It may not interest you much, but it is very interesting to me.
There is a red arrow pointing to my house on the lower left hand side. Click on the picture to see a larger view.
We are born to cloth. It is the second thing we touch after our mother.
I am a quilter. My first memory is a Noah’s Ark quilt. Mr. and Mrs. Noah, the Ark, and all the animals walking toward the boat on a curving path, were appliquéd on it. The back of the quilt was yellow with red flowers. I could re-draw that quilt today from memory.
I didn’t know I was a quilter until 1994. Before that I had a huge fabric collection.

Eeeek! This development is almost literally in your backyard.
It's going to change the character of things, that's for sure, and I'd be inclined to say mostly for the worse.
No wonder it's so very interesting to you.
That Delta land working looks like a crazy quilt.
