On our drive to and from Santa Barbara this weekend we saw the Indians Fire in Monterey County's Los Padres National Forest near King City. Very scary. Lots of fire trucks on Hwy. 101. Good wishes for your friend Jackie.

We had Red Flag warnings in our county last week -- high winds, high temps. We won't have rain until next fall.

How tragic some of those stories are. Heartbreaking to lose everything.
