About Me
- Name: Christine Thresh
- Location: On an Island in the California Delta
I am a quilter. My first memory is a Noah’s Ark quilt. Mr. and Mrs. Noah, the Ark, and all the animals walking toward the boat on a curving path, were appliquéd on it. The back of the quilt was yellow with red flowers. I could re-draw that quilt today from memory. I didn’t know I was a quilter until 1994. Before that I had a huge fabric collection.

I am glad. I was thinking of you the other day in conjunction with some paper piecing.
I am happy to say that makes 2 of us, having fun sewing!!! I finally stitched together all the pieces on my design wall, that weren't stitched together. It's now a smaller 'quilt top' than I thought it would be....
I was also looking at my "GG and Megan" pp'd wallie I did from your people patterns, of course, and realized I need to make some more kids!
Good, good! Looking forward to some pictures.

I decided yesterday that sewing can be my new exercise program. I sit down at the machine and sew a few inches, stand up and walk to my cutting area and use the rotary cutter, walk to the ironing board and iron the section I've just completed, sit back down at the sewing machine and sew a few inches, etc.....
Sounds like good exercise to me.
Cant wait to see some progress reports.
