I thought this was really clever. My husband hasn't started on our garden yet, but he talks about it a lot.

- Location: On an Island in the California Delta
I am a quilter. My first memory is a Noah’s Ark quilt. Mr. and Mrs. Noah, the Ark, and all the animals walking toward the boat on a curving path, were appliquéd on it. The back of the quilt was yellow with red flowers. I could re-draw that quilt today from memory. I didn’t know I was a quilter until 1994. Before that I had a huge fabric collection.

We saw the story featured on OZ TV & I was delighted to see Michelle out there digging away. Those children of hers are so lucky.
Great idea - thanks for sharing. Seems there is just a little more common sense these days - I love it.
I admire them for wanting to "change" the way we think. A victory garden, have thought of doing one too. My daughter loves to garden and she usually gets kids to help plant and water too.
