Morning vista
It is very foggy this morning. This is our view from the back porch. We have to drive to Brentwood at 8:00 am. We will have to drive very slowly.
I'm working a cheerful, bright quilted piece inside.

The sun was shining when we returned home to the island at 11:00. The photo below is the same scene as the early morning back porch view.

I realize I am reading this just after you've left. hope that some of that "marine layer" has burned off by now.
I remember those fog days.
I'm glad you added more panels to the quilt. It totally changes the pattern. You've inspired me. I'm working on a crazy quilt, and I just might use it as a tablecloth.
We do not get that kind of fog around here, but I love the photo!
We've got this valley fog stuff here, too! It's just about looking like it will clear.

What a difference a few hours can make, eh?
Nice view now that the tule fog is gone - we used to live near Sacrament - oh those foggy days when the police had to lead cars one lane at a time through the fog. Don't miss that, but sometimes miss CA for sure.
We get a little fog in the mornings here, but it usually burns off, just like yours did.
What quilt? What panels? I think I am missing something! Glad you got through the fog okay. I'm going to pick up Corky in a few hours - his parents are flying to SMF for the weekend. Hope they don't have much fog to deal with. Love, Del
Love the foggy photos. They make me want to dye and sew grays.
