Waving palm leaves

On our walk today I noticed the palm tree at the end of the lane and snapped a picture.

When I came home I looked at the photo on my computer screen and decided to make a classic palm leaf block. I tried out several fabrics next to the screen and picked two. (My little Emma Bird from Terry Grant sits next to the screen on the left and watches everything I do.)
